Lexus=S3xus Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Hey guys, I really need you help on this issue. I am getting a high idle about 1200 rpms after adjusting the screws on the tps. Everytime I set it back to around 650 rpms after the engine is warm, it goes back to 1200 rpms after I shut off the engine and turn it back on. So basically its like it resets my rpms higher even though I adjust the tps to match 650 rpms when the engine is warm. Thanks.
akewlguy Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Sorry pal, I dont know. My idle jumps around when I turn and shut off AC. Some times when the AC is turned on car seems to want to lurch forward.

chubyball Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Why are you messing with that for? I would clean your throttle first and also clean the fuel injectors.
