1995 Es300 Cd Changer Question

Just wondering if it is possible to have anything else connectd to the cd button on my stock radio than a changer, I bought a Delphi XM for my car which connects through the tape deck and I would like to have it go directly to the radio.

anything is possible but it would mean spliceing a harness

and corresponding all the buttons with the deck

maybe a good 40 hours of electrical engineering

so basically it would not be very simple or worth it
