Some Q's About Airbag Repair

I dont know if you guys remember my posting here about my suspension problem with the Steak and Shake parking lot? We are pretty sure their lot caused the shock to leak and last week my dad found out that the contractor is going to pay for the repair. I am guessing since the bag is still fine they wont be replacing it but fix whatevers leaking? How long would a repair like this take? Do you think they would offer a rental? The only reason we need one is because our third car (the 1990 BMW 750iL) has a dead battery and for whatever reason it refuses to charge (we've tried twice). Without the LS we would be down to 1 car and that doesnt work out too well for us right now with all the activities we have going on.
