Can I Covert 300 To Navigation?

I have a 300 and wonderin if I can buy the navigation dash and get it coverted to mine although it doesn't come with nav. I've seen the dash on ebay a few times

Run a search as this has been covered many times. Yes, but its extremely expensive and extremely labor intensive. The best way to get nav is to get aftermarket nav.

What year is your GS? It has to be second gen. to install nav. It will cost around $2500.00 for a full system.

Some people will prefer the OEM look and feel while others like aftermarket. There are a number of options as far as aftermarket. dcfish can help you out with the OEM route. :)

I'm thinking about getting a 2003 - 2005 used GS. Finding one with navigation is difficult and the price is more than I'm willing to pay (since the ones with Nav also include the other premium options). I figured I would just get one without the nav and then add in a good aftermarket system later. I've heard that going the OEM route is just too costly/complicated.

Dcfish, since you are apparently the guru on this, can you contact me regarding installing an aftermarket nav system? Are you affiliated with LuxuryMods.com or do you have any suggestions for places that can do this in the SoCal area (I'm in Monterey Park, CA).
