I need some help with my 1993 SC400. I bought the car about 2 months ago. Since then I've had a to replace a few things, mainly the serpentine belt tensioner. Besides that, nothing under the hood. Every thing was fine until about 2 weeks ago when I notice it was driving a little rough. Then while on the highway, it started to run like total *BLEEP*. When I mat the gas I get no acceleration. It runs at about 300rpms at idle, and when the throttle is pressed, it is very rough throughout the rpm range. Like its only running on 6 of the 8 cylinders. The exhaust smells very very rich to me. I was told that the timing belt needed to be changed, but that was done 40k miles ago, and after inspection, it looks almost brand new. Any ideas?

Got a call from the dealer (Toyota). Turns out the timing belt tensioner caused the belt to jump some teeth. Both the belt and the tensioner need to be replaced.
