Will '93-'95 Rear Center Light Panel Fit '96/'97?

I've been internet shopping for a 96/97 GS300 (never actually seen a '97 for sale) but I like the rear lights on the '93-'95 better. Will the center Aristo or GS300 plastic panel fit the 96/97 deck lid or are the deck lids different? Do the earlier middle panels match the later lights?
