Turns out the old owner had a system in it but when he traded it in, he just thew in a different headunit in but never hooked it up. It's mounted and everything which leads me to believe he would have connected it if he could have. Maybe it needs a new harness or somthing, but anyways, I got the piece around the shifter out of place and the ash tray/ lighter pocket out, and also undid the 3 bolts so now the center has more lee way but is still stuck unless Im not pulling hard enough or there's bolts I dont see.. But now what I dont know is if the shifter is a problem that I dont see. I wasnt able to get the top part off of it, I dont know if you need to completely remove that piece around the shifter or just get it loose enough just to get the ash tray out.
