I live here in the central valley, and basically had the wipers stop on me because the down pour was so heavy. It seemed to hesitate and didn't know what to sense. In that case, I just turned it back to manual operation.

the front wipers, when used on high (out of the automatic position) move no faster than the medium speed. this happened during an extremely heavy downpour. has anyone experienced this on their car?

I am having the same pronblem and the dealer is telling me the wipers are working to standard, Did you ever get this problem fixed?
