geneauf
Hi I got a Lexus SC400. I did 11000 miles with my first of TOYO Tires. I put a new set of Michelin and the back tires start to wear after 5000 miles. I don't push my car too hard. Is this normal for a Lexus SC400 to use tires? Please help what are the best tires for that car that can last. Thanks
SirSam
I have replaced the backs 3 times in 18k but thats my fault, as far as the fronts go, I have never replaced them and have amazingly at least 50% tread left. Fronts are running BFGoodrich T/A KDWS's, great tread life.
canadianSC
I am running BFG G-Froce Sports. put about 6000 kilometers on last year and you would not even be able to tell the tires were even used.
DomLee
I'm running Yokohama ES100s. Tire wear so far has been good. I'm expecting to get at least 10,000 miles out of them. Will see. My best recommendation to ensure that you get the most life out of your tires, would be the following: 1) Check tire pressure. 2) Ensure that your shocks are in good condition. If they are bad, replace them. 3) If there is unnecessary junk in your car, remove it. Less weight = less wear. 4) Get an alignment. 5) If your bushings are shot, replace them. jbarhorst2
I got 75,000 miles out of a set of Goodyears (OEM style) and have put over 20,000 miles on the Toyos I bought. They don't even look like any tread is gone yet. Sounds like your alignment is off. Tom
