2001LS430 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Hello, Does anyone have an idea of a fair market value for a 2001 LS430 (in the Philadelphia PA area)? The car is burgundy with tan leather, Levinson sound, sunroof, 4 heated seats, Navigation, 4 new tires, new PA inspection, 45K miles. I ordered the car new and it has no body damage or paint work. The car has never been smoked in and most mileage is highway. The exterior and interior are almost perfect and I plan to get the car detailed before I sell it. I looked on Nada, Edmunds, etc but if I could get the price that they have listed for my car I would have sold it already. I advertised the car on AutoTrader and other web sites a few months ago and all I got was one idiot after another asking me if I would take 20K or a third party out of country check for 50K and give them my car and 'the change due'... I recently purchased a 1993 SC400 as my daily driver and I need to sell this quickly. I'm thinking low to mid thirties? Thoughts? Thanks, Chris
nc211 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Little tough to decode. In summary, in PA, the NADA values I see are: Trade in = $32,825 Loan = $29,850 RETAIL = $37,650 It gave you $1,500 for low mileage. N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide Vehicle Summary N.A.D.A. 2001LS430 Posted June 7, 2005 Author Posted June 7, 2005 If I could get 33 to 34 for the car then it would go...
2001LS430 Posted June 16, 2005 Author Posted June 16, 2005 The economy must be bad... I had the car on eBay and high bid was 25K. I have it advertised for 32,900 and have had one offer for 27,500.

Thats why I try and stick with the more favorable colors such as white, black, and silver when i can. Burg LS's are always cheaper because the demand is so low for the color.

Otherwise, why go to ebay and have to wait for the purchase transactions to go through and wait to have your car delivered or picked up when you can just drive down to the dealership and get it for the same price. I would just get it from the dealer rather than go through ebay hastle unless it's a spankin' deal. I will end up paying close to $30000 for my 98 LS400 I bought in December 2004 after finance charges. If I could get a very low finance apr loan I definitely would have bought your 2001 fo sho.
