Can I Shrink My '98 Ls400?

I have a 98 ls400 with 62,000 miles, in the family since new.

Always liked the way the car rode and drove. But, after driving a friend's '03 ls430 a lot lately, I've become dissatisfied with the ponderous and stately ride of the 98 vs. the nimble, and much smaller-seeming ls430.

Is there anything I can do to make my 98 feel more like the 03? Changing struts? Any other advice?
