Unjamming The Rear Cup Holder

A while back the rear cup holder on the LS jammed and for the life of me I cant get it open without breaking anything. Is there a special way to get it un-jammed?

What year? Mine doesn't have rear holder ('90 LS).

My rear cupholder jammed a few months ago. A few wacks of my fist on the side of armrest made in pop out. It has not jammed since.

Let me see if it works.......no, unfortunetly it didnt. Thast ok. I really dont like people drinking soda in the car anywya. I have a big stain under the mat of my 740 from my previous owner drinking a soda

You have to get a kitchen knife, and stick it in there to hold the little plastic thingies from sticking up, causing them to jam. You do one side at a time, and they come right out.
