rickg
I had two "master" keys for my 2001 IS300 and have lost one set. I have two questions: 1) Are there any methods to get a new key outside of the dealership that may be less expensive (they are asking $250 for the key PLUS charges to reprogram it). 2) Does anyone have the steps to program the new key once I get it so that I do not have to pay this dealership the $100+ dollars they are asking to do it? bartkat
I've seen keys for sale on ebay.
iprocure2k3
I am looking to replace my keys as well. I found the cheapest place to order the keys are through www.lexus-parts.com. The website indicates the Transponder key @ $169 compared to $250 at a local Lexus dealership. Programming the key is extra though. <_<
