jmassey
I have a 2002 LX 470 with 97,000 miles. Recently, I have been experiencing a vibration (for lack of a better description) both audiable and haptical when changing height positions (going both up and down). I have had my local dealer inspect the system, but they say nothing is wrong (even though they hear and feel the vibration). Any ideas? I really appreciate this forum and hope some of my peers can shed some light on this issue. Peace, JM

I was thinking that it may be the clunk problem that some of us GX owners experience (my service rep told me that some LX470s have it also). Only vibration I know is in the front driveline at speed of 65-75mph & around 1800-2300 rpm.

Also, I probably should have mentioned that the vehicle is in Park when I notice the phenomenon. Furthermore, it is my belief that the vibration? is the result of two metal parts (possibly a joint, pivot point or hinge) rubbing together as the truck goes up and down.
