GOSC Posted April 28, 2005 Share Posted April 28, 2005 I have a 92 SC400. Sometimes when I start it there is a loud whining sound that turns into a groan when I turn the wheel either way. The sound is coming from somewhere around the serpentine belts on the passenger side of the engine. The strange thing is... if I turn off the car and start it again the sound goes away and it runs fine. Any input on what it could be?
