  1. I replaced my needles through audiogodz, who I found on e-bay. It costs $99 for them to replace with 1 of 8 colors and re-calibrate. You have to remove the cluster and package it. I think insurance through the post office was $16 total. I've had mine for about 2 years and I've had one problem with the connection on the gas gauge. You can also find complete clusters already rebuilt if you're lucky.
  2. I have a 92 SC400. Sometimes when I start it there is a loud whining sound that turns into a groan when I turn the wheel either way. The sound is coming from somewhere around the serpentine belts on the passenger side of the engine. The strange thing is... if I turn off the car and start it again the sound goes away and it runs fine. Any input on what it could be?
  3. My car is completely dead. I've cleaned and checked everything with the battery and thought of anything that could cause it. My negative terminal is sparking so I have a short. Yesterday, my speedometer needle was flashing all day. I'd have no problem fixing the wiring, except... the steering wheel is too high up to get the cluster out. Isn't there someone out there who knows how to bypass the column motor or move it manually? Any help is greatly appreciated
