jadecuir
I thought I read a byline on a post here that Lexus Dealer will replace seat belts for free. If this is true, is it only for defectives, or will they replace one on a '90 LS that is just plain worn out? John
VMF
i'm not sure if they will replace them if they are worn out, but i know they are going to extend the lenght if the person is fat:)
seagoddessj
I tried that with my '97 ES 300 (in 2003); the driver's seat belt wouldn't retract without being fed by hand. The Lexus dealer in Clearwater, FL said that they wouldn't replace it for free since it was out of warranty & that the charge would be at least $450. I was so mad that I took it apart and cleaned the retractor & bracket; that's all it took - just dirty & gummed up. Hope this helps.
