Damaged Engine Under Cover

Greetings,

On my 2002 es300, the cover which goes under the engine passenger side, which is tied to front bumber is damaged, and it came loose from the back side, I tied it down to whatever i can find, but when I drive above 60 mph, it makes rattling noise. What is the use of this cover? What happens if I remove it completely? If I want to replace it, is it easy to do? (looks easy - just tied to bumper and some other parts), Does anyone know the part number for this one?

you can't buy only that peice. you have to buy all(around tire and front.

look at the piece you have. The part number should be molded into it.

there are two pieces, right and left, so you should be able to order the side you need. The black push pins go for about a buck a piece.
