edwardh1
I have a highlander actually. i have a manual air conditioner. When its set on full cold - i still get a little heat effect, like 10 degrees add to the outside air temp. Some people say this is because there is no hot water shut off valve and the heater core is therefore always hot> Do lexi cousins have manual Ac and if do, do they have or not have a water shut off valve for the heater core? wwest
All Lexii have automatic climate control and my 2001 AWD RX300 did not come with a water control valve. My 92 LS does have one that is operated via a cable connected to the mixing vane servomotor

edwardh1
thanks wwest. Any idea where the heater hoses to the heater core are? I had a 78 Trans am with no heater control valve- I put a valve in the heater hose - in that car it was on the inner fender and very easy to get to. I have crawled under my Highlander and can not find the hoses - any help?
