donald
I need to change the timing belt soon but was told by a guy with a 99 gs300 that the cars have a non-interference engine. Therefore, if the belt broke I would only get stuck. Is this true?
TurboGS300
Almost all toyota motors are "non-interference", shouldn't matter though as the belt should be changed at the specified interval <_<

I talked to my mechanic and also a certified Lexus mechanic and both said the engine is interference. Non-interference is not correct!
