Driver Side Door On 1992 Es300 Will Not Open

I have a 1992 es 300 with no past problems with any of the doors. Last night I locked the doors using the key from the outside. when we tried to unlock them the drivers door will not unlock. It seems like the locking mech. is in a bind it will not fully unlock by ant method , manually pushing the unlock button, the electric unlock button or with the key. I would pull the door panel to try and see what the problem is but one big problem!! I cant open the door to get to the screws. Please help. Thanks

Try getting somone to push on the outside of the door while moving the lock to lock/unlock.

But more than likely it is a problem with a clip being broken inside the door
