Waxing And Polishing

Hey,

Just got a spruce (light blue) sc400 and the previous owner kept it v. nice. I would like to do the same. I always thought a nice wash and some wax would do the job. But after reading some posts, I see people talking about polishes, clay and a whole bunch of other items I have never used or even heard of. Before I go out and spend money, can anyone tell me if it will really makes a noticeable difference to use polish and then wax? Since I am using this for the first time, if I make a mistake, can it permanently damage my paint?

It will definately make a difference.

If you're just working by hand and using a fine hand polish theres no way you can hurt your paint.
