marathiboy Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Hello, I heard from somewhere that es 300, after stopped for parking sometimes can lurch forward, is that still a problem? If it is related to model year issue, can anyone tell me which years are affected and when it was fixed? Shailesh
steviej Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 at this point in time, no problem has been identified as to any lurching being the fault of the vehicle. All investigations have been dismissed as "user error". Do a search, there were several threads about 6 months ago discussing this. try searching on NTHSB or lurching. steviej

I thought it was the "Audi effect" since it was the Audi 5000 that started the whole business of requiring a brake pedal operated shift lock switch. I remember watching 60 minutes as a kid in the late 70's or early 80's. The entire show was devoted to it. steviej
