white ice Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 i am looking at buying 4 18" baccarat mirage wheels. i was looking at some websites and they say there are for a fwd vehicle. i have a 96 lexus sc300 and as we all know it is rwd. the offset on the wheels is 20mm. will these wheels work with my sc? sorry about posting twice.
Neo Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 What is the width of the rim? 18x? ? Even so, +20 offset is pretty aggressive. Are you planning on putting in some work to get this to fit (shaving fenders, stretched tires, and/or negative camber)? Or are you asking if this will just bolt on with no extra work? Sorry to answer your question with more questions but the answers to these will help others here to determine a more precise response.
AWJ Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Yea +20 is no good. Avoid them. You should run a 45 to 50 ideally. 35 is the max you can do, and it will rub. Change the way the car tracks. Up to you. But I would say, look elsewhere.
white ice Posted February 28, 2005 Author Posted February 28, 2005 thanks for the replies. they are good looking but i guess ill pass on them. thanks again LOC.
