rcernak Posted February 19, 2005 Share Posted February 19, 2005 Hello, I just replaced my stock head unit with a Sony CDX-F5710 unit. The unit works well but I want to enable the auto dimming feature on the display. The Sony wiring harness has a wire for "car's illumination signal" but the Metra wiring harness does not have a wire an equivalent. I assume this is bacause the stock was an always on LCD but really don't know for sure. Does anyone have advice for where I could pick up this signal?
