The only alarm fob for my '97 ES 300 is lost. It was used to lock the car and set the alarm the last time it was driven. I am unable to start the car with my only spare key because of (I guess) an ingnition interlock or imobilzer tied to the alarm. This key works in all locks, including glove box and trunk, so it is not a valet key. Is there any way to release the interlock? I have tried disconnecting the battery and waiting a half hour before reconnecting, but this does nothing. Thanks for any help you can provide. Rob

Hello, I just replaced my stock head unit with a Sony CDX-F5710 unit. The unit works well but I want to enable the auto dimming feature on the display. The Sony wiring harness has a wire for "car's illumination signal" but the Metra wiring harness does not have a wire an equivalent. I assume this is bacause the stock was an always on LCD but really don't know for sure. Does anyone have advice for where I could pick up this signal? Thanks
