1995_ES300 Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 do they make high output alternators for 95 es300's? the stock one really stinks... I plan to upgrade the stock ground and alt. power wires anyways, but i would like a little more oomph for a future sound system I have. My last vehicle had a 120 amp alt and a 5 farad cap and it was just enough to keep things from dimming.
SKperformance Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 no one makes one and cannot modify the coil to be bigger as their is no room change your wires

amf1932 Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 i saw that, i am not sure that will wok on the 95? ← Call em up and ask. ;)
chuckb Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 I have a 95 ES too. I notice same thing. With the lights on, when you push the brakes or push the window button up when the window is already up, the lights dim slightly for a second. Once, when my battery was bad, the car would not even run . I thought it was the alt. but it wasn't. Replaced battery and it's been fine, and that was like 3 yrs ago.
96LexES300 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 i would definetely check around because i know someone makes one because i had to get one for my 96 ES 300 because of the system i put in.
1995_ES300 Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 was it custom made or was it an alt. that you bought "over the counter"?
