ImranS Posted January 18, 2005 Share Posted January 18, 2005 Hey guys This is the first time i've had an auto climate system (05 ES), everytime its set to auto the A/C light is on (this has only been in the cold since I havent had the pelasure to drive the car in the summer yet ) Is it normal for the A/C to be on, i kno about the fact that it helps defrost faster, but the light is always on, doesnt that waste gas? Should I turn it off? ← Yup that's normal for the A/C to be on when you hit the auto button. Yes it does use a bit of gas, but you can always turn it off when you fully defrosted the windows. B) Imran, read your owners manual as to why it is on even in the winter......you will notice that is also comes on when you turn your defroster on.
