Hey guys

This is the first time i've had an auto climate system (05 ES), everytime its set to auto the A/C light is on (this has only been in the cold since I havent had the pelasure to drive the car in the summer yet )

Is it normal for the A/C to be on, i kno about the fact that it helps defrost faster, but the light is always on, doesnt that waste gas? Should I turn it off?

Yup that's normal for the A/C to be on when you hit the auto button. Yes it does use a bit of gas, but you can always turn it off when you fully defrosted the windows. I believe your owner's manual covers the climate control operation.

Yup that's normal for the A/C to be on when you hit the auto button. Yes it does use a bit of gas, but you can always turn it off when you fully defrosted the windows. I believe your owner's manual covers the climate control operation.

Agreed! B) Imran, read your owners manual as to why it is on even in the winter......you will notice that is also comes on when you turn your defroster on. Owners manual explains everything. ;)

I finally pulled it out and went through the entire thing. Found out somet interesting things, like the fact theres a volume knob for the beep when you lock the doors...neat.

It explains all the 'neat' little features that are built into your ES. ;) It's worth it's weight in gold let me tell ya. Did you figure out the A/C situation? B)
