grsummers Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 A friend is wanting to sell four 225/50/17 snow tires. I have a 2003 GS430 with 17" rims. Stock size is 235/45/17, went to a tire sizing chart, the 225/50's are 2.06% bigger in diameter. Would there be any problems, other than slight speedo difference? Thanks
SKperformance Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 difference is minimal as well with snows you want a smaller patch and higher sidewall for more psi for bite
