white ice Posted December 23, 2004 Share Posted December 23, 2004 i have a 2 channel RF amp. it is 4 ohm stable bridged. i currently have a 4 ohm load from my 10" woofer. my brother just gave me a 12 RF sub in a box. both the 10 and the 12 are 4ohm single voice coil speakers. if i wired these to make an 8ohm load would it harm the amp if it were bridged? woudl it run less power? thank you.
