Temperature Guage

I bought a 1991 LS 400 a few months ago. The temperature guage does not work. It is stuck in at the bottom in the cold position. I changed the sensor but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

i doubt it is the wiring for it as the check engine light would come on

unless your fan is staying on

probably the gauge in the cluster

get a scan tool hook up to make sure it is reahing temp though

I'll give it a try. say, do you know where I can find a scan tool? or what type? I wouldn't mind owning one.
