I'm considering an idea to sell my IS300 to my friend and was wondering what would be a fair price. Bluebook says $20500. If I bring it to a dealer, I would get $18000 according to the book. I have a 2001 IS300 (full option) with 31,000 miles on. It just got 30,000 mile service ($750). I've never missed a service. The car is in an excellent condition with a very minor scratch/dent on lower part of the right rear door and body. Tires (performance) and wheels (Lexus factory made) are only a half year old. I've also purchased 3 additional factory warranty from Lexus. I'm plannig to sell my car at the end of this December. How would I find a fair price? What would be a fair price?
