johndhenry Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I live in the Bay Area and have a place at Lake Tahoe. California requires that I keep and use chains during bad (unpredictable) weather. I have the Lexus factory standard wheels with regular (non-run-flat) tires. Does anyone have any experience and/or advice with snow chains which they could share? Also, what is the 'best' type of chain to purchase? Thanks! John Walnut Creek
bpoole Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I think I would buy a second car. There is no way I would try to drive my SC in snow. I don't even like to drive it in the rain.
