Electric Polisher/buffer

Recommended Posts

anyone use one of those electric (cordless or not) polisher/buffer things? i waxed my car by hand last night and i think my arm is gonna fall off. i gotta apply 2 more coats (maguire's 3-step polish) and need some advice. can you recommend any brand/model in particular? also if you have any tips on how to use one effectively i would appreciate it (never used one before). thanks guys!

it depnds on what you want to do

if you want to save your arm buy a orbital one that shakes the hell out of you as it vibrates in a circle

want a car show shine get a high speed buffer more like an angle grinder

but it can remove paint in a blink of an eye,so it better for professionals

or someone with a car to practice doing a few times

most regualr models are prety much the same only does it make a difference in the high speed ones

which can have variable speeds and settings and max rpms
