Navigational Dvd Upgrade

Does anyone know if an upgrade to the navigational DVD is include with a new vehicle? I just had my 2001 LX470 in for routine service & they said it was not included. I think I remember the salesman mentioning that 1 upgrade was included.

I purchased a 2002 CPO LX470 - it came with the Nav release from that year. I purchased the upgrade DVD on ebay for under $150, works fine. I asked my dealer for the upgrade, they wouldn't do it. BTW, the DVD used for the Nav system is double density, so it would be tough to burn a copy :)

Newest version was released in Oct. 2004, though I am not sure of the version number. My version (2003) is 3.1.
