Wrigley132
I just bought a used 1996 ES300 and can hear a somewhat annoying air leak above my head when the moon roof cover is pulled back. When I slide the cover closed, I really don't hear it much. So before someone says to just keep the cover closed, can a Lexus Service Tech, or anyone for that matter, effectively address this problem with a better seal?....Thanks... SKperformance
since i cnnot see the seal it is hard to say wether it is the seal or the roof needs to be adjusted in position with shims do you have a cell phone antenna? as this can sometimes cause excess noise also one option is to use silicone spray on the seal to help the seal .........seal also use the spray on all the windows and doors edges and don't forget the trunk as any air to get out has to get in first seal as many places as possible and you will reduce wind noise also the doors may be leaking on the windowsedges if they are closed frequently by passanger using the window instead of the door and since there is no frame it goes out of alignment and leaks air usually and not water
