If I raise the driver's side window, then it acts like something is caught and will stop and reverse. The window sounds normal when raising and you can hold the switch all the way up and it will completely close. The dealership says I need a new regulator and motor. $700 bucks!!! I maybe can see the regulator but the motor seems fine to me. Any suggestions on what can cause this problem? I'd keep on using it like you are.....just hold the switch in the up position. Go to an auto electrical repair shop and get their opinion. HOw's the Avalon ride compared to the LS??
