Changing A Navigation Map?

Hello from other side of the word!

I am from Odessa, Ukraine and glad I found this club. Just in the beginning of this year, I brought a then new Lexus RX 330 (2004 model year) 4WD from Miami to Ukraine and currently driving it with a great satisfaction.

But maybe someone may help me in a question regaridng the Navigation system. Due to obvious reasons, NAV is useless in my country, as a Lexus I brought is equipped with USA maps. Is there any opportunity to replace that map with third party map, available locally? Lexus itself doesnt' have representative in Ukraine, except Toyota, which IS NOT selling Lexus here yet (they themselves just opened own offices).

Where is a NAV DVD reader hidden in a car? Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Not heard of any third party discs working in a Lexus nav unit. Toyota ones may well work.

Lexus stopped printing 'LEXUS' on the UK discs in 2001, I guess so they can use the same part for both Toyota and Lexus. Maybe your Toyota dealer will let you test a disc?

Not sure about a 3rd party map, but, the player is in the jack equipment compartment on the right side.
