Fuse for folding mirrors Rx350

I cannot locate which fuse to check since my side mirrors have quit folding automatically on my 2017 RX350.  And yes, the green light is on "auto".  Mirrors will still fold manually.  Go figure.

For your 2017 Lexus RX350, the fuse related to the side mirrors is typically located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver’s side or in the engine compartment.

Here are the steps to locate and check the fuse:

  1. Locate the Fuse Box:

    • Under the Dashboard: Look for a small compartment on the driver’s side, below the steering wheel. Open the cover to access the fuses.
    • Engine Compartment: There is another fuse box located on the driver’s side near the firewall. It’s a rectangular black box with a removable lid.
  2. Check the Fuse Diagram:

    • Inside the fuse box cover, you should find a diagram that indicates the function of each fuse. Look for the fuse labeled for the side mirrors or similar functions.
  3. Inspect the Fuse:

    • Once you locate the correct fuse, pull it out and inspect it. If the metal strip inside the fuse is broken, it needs to be replaced.

If the fuse appears to be fine, there might be another issue at play, such as a wiring problem or a malfunctioning motor. In that case, it might be best to consult a professional mechanic or your local Lexus dealership.
