Johns John Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Recently bought a used 2015 ES 300h with very low miles (40k). The car often sat unused in the winter. Car is super quiet and I replaced the tires with new rubber but I find the suspension very unforgiving. Almost everything is transmitted into the cabin and I’m admit, my Corolla was smoother sometimes. Bad shocks from sitting? KYB aftermarkets have been recommended but they also have been said to be even firmer than Lexus OEM KYBs. Any recommendations? I just want an isolated ride like an old man.
RX400h Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Your Lexus should have one of the most comfortable rides on the road. If it were my car and I planned to keep it for a while, I'd get factory shocks (chosen according to your car's VIN), but not before having a mechanic check out the existing ones.
