jerryk22 Posted June 14 Posted June 14 I'm looking to buy a 2023 Lexus Certified. Trying to decide between the ES 250 and the ES 350. I've enclosed a viewpoint from Edmunds about the engine . 7.9 out of 10 edmunds TESTED The Lexus ES 250 finally brings an all-wheel-drive powertrain to the ES lineup. Unfortunately, the 250's lethargic four-cylinder engine is unworthy of being in a luxury car such as this. Unless you absolutely need all-wheel drive, the V6-powered ES 350 is a better buy. The ES 250's endearing qualities are otherwise present in the ES 350 as well. Does anyone with a 2013 ES 250 notice the engine being lethargic and Noisy?
RX400h Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Hopefully, you'll get a direct answer, but I am curious why you would not consider an ES300h. My sister has one and cannot be any happier, especially with its stellar gas mileage of 42 MPG average and up to 50 mpg on the highway.
batsyhds Posted July 4 Posted July 4 2008 IS250 AWD. Water pump died and was replaced at 121,000 km. There has been a noise from the engine compartment (very quiet) for the last month or so but really god noisy recently. Kodi
