JayBee1988 Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 Hello everyone. I have a 1996 Lexus LS400. just changed the alternator, the battery is about 3 months old. The engine turns over but it won’t start. I apply the portable charger to the battery and it starts without as hesitation. I rev the engine to about 2K rpm and when I release the peddle, the car shuts up. It doesn’t idle. If the car has warmed up to its regular temperature. It starts without an issue. Can someone pleas give me some input on this and if it has happened to anyone before. Thank you.
