curbed Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Hello, I recently had someone install tint and they nicked the run channel on the corner of the window on the front driver side. I would like to know if this will cause any problems for me to go and get it replaced. I wouldn't think it'll cause issues since water seeps into the trim anyway so I thought. Will water entering here cause an issue? Would I have to replace this run channel, or is it just a cosmetic problem? 2023 Lexus UX250h. IMG_7213.mov Edited January 16 by curbed
RX400h Posted January 17 Posted January 17 If it were my vehicle, I'd tell the installer that you would like it replaced, perhaps by an auto body shop. It is both cosmetically irritating and potentially a leak path.
