2007 RX350 Cracked Dashboard

Hello - I recently purchased a 2007 RX 350 from Florida knowing that it had a cracked dashboard. I figured this was an isolated event given it had been sitting in the heat/humidity/in a garage but then I also saw there was an extended warranty program for this from years ago. It looks like I wouldn't be eligible for the primary coverage but reading the fine print, it says that secondary coverage offers the warranty enhancement for 10 years from the date of first use of the vehicle, regardless of mileage. Since I am now the second owner of the vehicle would that make me eligible for this coverage or would I still need to pay out of pocket?

I would call Lexus customer service to verify. I always thought that it was 10 years from original owner's date of purchase.
