RX400h Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Your signature lists a 2016 ES350. I thought that you posted in the wrong section - sorry.

Solution RX400h Posted September 15, 2023 Solution Posted September 15, 2023 It looks like the method used on RX models in general includes these steps: Turn off your vehicle and disconnect the battery. Doing this will help prevent electrical mishaps or electrocution. This should not be necessary if replacing the bulb, only. Open the trunk. This will allow you to access the trim paneling on your vehicle. Remove trim lining. Using the small flat head screwdriver, pop out the plastic rivets holding your vehicle’s trim liners in place. Remove tail light from the assembly. You can do this by pinching the connector and pulling out the bulbs of each tail light.

I found a youtube video showing the process & got the job done yesterday. 1
