Squeking sound after hitting a pothole

I hear a squeaking sound on the front passenger side after hitting a pothole. This sound appears only when the car moves up and down. Even if the car stopped and I push on the hood, I hear a squeaking sound. I know that it is coming from inside the fender and not under the hood.  I can not isolate it further. Any ideas?

It could be that the sound seems to be coming from inside the car yet is actually coming from a suspension component like a bushing or loose bolt.

I would have a shop put it on a lift to audibly and visually inspect the suspension.
