The first thing to do is to check to make sure your oil cap is securely in place. Same for your oil drain plug. Check both of these conditions before you start your vehicle again.

The second thing to do is to go back to the shop that changed your oil and address your problem with them. I assume that all gauges and indicator lights were normal before your oil change. If so, you must find out what the shop did to your vehicle while changing the oil. They could have stripped a thread, damaged a sensor, etc. etc. etc.

Be professional when confronting them, but be insistent and firm as well. You didn't have these problems before they serviced your vehicle. Now you do. Don't let them off the hook until they agree to find and fix your problem.

Still another reason for learning to do the routine maintenance yourself. No one else will take care of your vehicles the way you do yourself.

thanks RXinNC for ur quick response

i asked them they told its not their problem

i'll tell my story ,i parked my vehicle in street parking, one lady hit my rx300, they gave me the quotation and m oney i we nt to local auto body for repair, they repaired well

but from that time onwards i am getting low oilpressure light came on

when i called that guy he told me its not their problem, they only did the auto repair ,this may be mechanic problem

so i went to them once again for oil change ,they did today

but when i coming back i got these 2 lights on

very frustating and depressed why its happening

now i am planning to show this to lexus dealer but they'll take lof of money before doing anything

checking itself is more $$$

Here's some considerations.

First, it's important to be sure that you don't actually have an oil pressure issue. Most likely, it is a sensor of some kind that is acting up, or perhaps the repair shop left a wire off of a sensor (or knocked it off without realizing). If they won't admit to their error, not much you can do.

It doesn't have to be a dealer that checks this out -- I'm guessing that any reputable shop can diagnose what is actually happening. But again, if you are low on oil (check that FIRST) or if oil is not circulating, ypu could destroy your engine !!

FYI -- based on issues and attitudes, I would use those guys in the future.

Worst case -- you bite the bullet and have the dealership check things out this time. Better than destroying the engine.

Where do you live? Someone on this list may know someone that can help.
