Check Lights

gnarly

Recommended Posts

Yesterday morning when I started my 2000 ES 300 (76,000 miles) it ran rough for about 5 seconds and then I got the Check Engine and Trac Off lights. Took it to a local Toyota dealer where they found a code of P0300 stored. This is a random misfire detected error. They suggested a general tune-up. I'm wondering if anyone out there has experienced this error and what specifically was the cause??
