I am looking to purchase a 98 or 99 GS300. I would just like to know what feedback anyone can give me. This will be my first Lexus and I would like to what problems that some owners might have. Any feedback would be very helpful

The MK2 is pretty much bomb-proof.

Check the condition of the wheels (if they're still stock). Also check for vibration through the steering and warped rotors.

Definitely look for a full Lexus service history. Pretty much these cars don't go wrong though

If you have not yet purchased the car, take the VIN number to a local Lexus dealer. Explaine to the service clerk that you are going to purchase the car from someone, and you want to know if the service has been kept up. They should be able to offer you a report on the service that the car has had at any Lexus dealership. Good luck.
